πŸš€ Due to popular demand, Star Forge will be taking on a new group of students for the 2027 SmallSat Conference Student Competition! πŸŒŽπŸ›°οΈ

Over the past three consecutive years, we’ve had the privilege of mentoring students whose research was selected as finalists in the SmallSat Student Competition. πŸŽ‰ Watching students develop their ideas, conduct cutting-edge research, and present their work on an international stage has been one of the most rewarding aspects of our work at Star Forge.

We are now looking for motivated students interested in research in areas such as:
πŸ›°οΈ Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC)
🎯 Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS)
πŸ€– Spacecraft Autonomy
🌌 Space Situational Awareness (SSA)
πŸ“· Optical Navigation & Sensor Fusion

Students are welcome to:
πŸ’‘ Bring their own research idea,
πŸ”¬ Work on one of my existing research projects, or
🀝 Develop a new topic together based on their interests.

The goal is to produce high-quality research with the potential to be submitted to the 2027 SmallSat Conference Student Competition. πŸ† Applicants should also be eligible to travel to Utah, USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, should their work be selected for presentation at the conference.

If you’re passionate about spacecraft engineering, enjoy solving challenging technical problems, and want to contribute to real aerospace research, we’d love to hear from you! πŸ“© Feel free to send an email to lailakazemi@starforge.ca to discuss potential topics.

Let’s build something exciting together! πŸš€βœ¨
